Wheeled Units
Wheeled unit fire extinguishers are as diverse as their portable cousins. We offer ABC, BC, AFFF Foam, Halotron, Class D, Purple K and CO2 models. It is especially important to understand the hazard before making the selection of a wheeled unit. For example, while an ABC will likely put out a fire on a helipad, Purple K or Halotron-1 would probably do so more effectively.
 Dry Chemical - ABC (stored pressure)This model is pressurized whereas many wheeled units have a secondary, smaller cylinder which holds pressure. Upon activation the secondary cylinder pressurizes the main cylinder. |
